Ideal Saddle Modification has unveiled two new products for 2009. Developed in the wind tunnel, the Quick Draw bottle cage has capacity for two bottles, both of which are slightly angled behind the seat. The bottles are staggered and rotated for ease of handling during removal and re-entry. According to ISM, the Quick Draw is compatible on all saddle brands. Available in anodized black aluminium, the Quick Draw bottle cage has a suggested retail price of US$99.95 (€77.50).
The ‘bad boy’ Adamo Peak seat is targeted at trail riders. The Peak is the product of hundreds of hours spent on the trail with several different prototypes. The resulting seat shape has a more rounded rear and a graduated slope. The Peak allows a rider to climb forward to reduce wheel slippage and ride off the back of the seat during tricky descents. Using gel and foam padding and CrMo rails for strength, the Adamo Peak’s sides are reinforced with Kevlar. Available in black and white, the seat has a suggested retail price of US$139.95 (€108.50).
