Building on an already strong line up for 2010, wheel manufacturer Rolf Prima has confirmed two new additions to its sponsored athletes list. New additions include pro triathletes, Scott Neyedli of Scotland and Tyler Butterfield of Bermuda.
Butterfield recently returned to racing triathlons after a four-year stint as a professional cyclist. During this time, he raced on the pro cycling team Garmin-Slipstream, where he took the overall win at the Bermuda Grand Prix Cycling Tour in 2004 and many top five finishes along the way.
Returning to his love of triathlon competition, Butterfield was quick to reclaim his form with a third place finish at Ironman 70.3 Monaco and fourth at Ironman Cozumel, Mexico, in 2009, qualifying him for the 2010 Ironman World Championships in Kona later this year.
Born in Scotland, Neyedli made a quick impact to the sport of triathlon. 2007 brought Neyedli a win at Ironman UK in Bolton where he set a course record. At the 2009 Western Australia Ironman, Neyedli raced to a second place finish, just missing out on the title.
Both triathletes will be racing on Rolf Prima Carbon TT’s and training on Rolf Prima Echelon’s.
