Zensah, the Miami based seamless compression technology specialist, has announced its alliance with Kestrel Bicycles, whose all-carbon bicycle designs have a strong following in the triathlon industry.
The Zensah compression leg sleeves can be seen at the Kestrel booth at this year’s Ironman World Championships, with the much anticipated competition taking place on Saturday 9 October 2010 in Kona, Hawaii.
Zensah and Kestrel are teaming up to offer Ironman athletes and endurance sport enthusiasts the ‘best products for unbeatable performance’. At Kona, select Kestrel athletes and employees will be outfitted in red and black compression leg sleeves, the colours of Kestrel.
Kestrel Brand Manager Steven Harad said, “Having some of our athletes and employees in Kestrel colour leg sleeves will allow us to represent both companies at Kona. Zensah offers a great product that we are eager to display.”
Ryan Oliver, Zensah’s Marketing Director, is enthusiastic about the relationship, “Working alongside Kestrel, one of the strongest brands in the bicycle industry, is a great opportunity for Zensah. Compression is a rapidly growing market and our presence at Kona will emphasize that.”
Triathletes can benefit from Zensah compression products, such as compression leg sleeves and compression socks, which aim to improve performance and enhance recovery time by increasing oxygen blood flow.
Elite runner and Triathlete Sean Schnur will be racing in Kona this year wearing Zensah. According to Shnur’s coach William Jones, “Sean will have one of the fastest marathons in Kona wearing Zensah.”
