The latest promotion from Maxifuel, British Triathlon’s Official Nutrition Partner, sees the sports nutrition brand run a prize draw to win a free entry into both the London and Blenheim Triathlons.
The Maxifuel promotion notes that ‘Triathlon is rapidly becoming one of the most popular sports in the UK and Maxifuel are delighted to be an active part of it.’
As a sponsor of both the London Triathlon and Blenheim Triathlon, Maxifuel notes that these are two iconic events in the UK tri calendar.
To be in with a chance of winning a place, consumers simply need to make any purchase from maxifuel.com before the end of May. Having done so, the team at Maxifuel will automatically organise an entry into the prize draw.
Both the London Triathlon and Blenheim Triathlon are open to all levels of triathletes, from novice to elite, ‘so everyone will receive a warm welcome and have a fantastic time.’
Maxinutrition – the company behind Maxifuel and Maximuscle – was snapped up by healthcare and sports drink giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for £162 million at the end of 2010.
Both the Maxifuel and Maximuscle brands have seen increased marketing activity in recent months, with a particular push online on selected sport and endurance sport websites.
GSK is hoping to use its existing global distribution network to sell and market Maxinutrition’s brands – which are currently sold via a diverse number of outlets, particularly gyms and speciality stores.
