At the Taipei Cycle Show 2011, Campagnolo will reveal previews of a number of new products in its 2012 range.
These include: new colour versions for the Athena and Centaur groupsets, new Khamsin Black&Red wheels, the expansion of Campy family of Cyclocross products with the new CX cantilever brakes and the company’s Bora One CX wheels.
According to Campagnolo, ‘the Campy Tech Lab engineers have invested all their in-depth laboratory and field test experience into the new CX range, making the new components more resistant and reliable even in the most extreme climatic and terrain conditions.’
In 2012 the Athena groupset will be available in a new version called Deep Black, added to the Bright Silver version already presented for the 2011 range.
Athena 2012 retains all the technical and performance characteristics of the 2011 version. Available options will include the Ergopower controls in carbon with core in light alloy and the full carbon crankset, in the standard and compact versions.
The Centaur groupset has a new look, and for 2012 it’s proposed in two versions: Deep Black and Black&Red. As with the Athena groupset, Centaur 2012 retains all the technical and performance characteristics of the 2011 version.
