GU Energy Labs, a pioneer of the original energy gel, has added new Senior Marketing Manager Lauren O’Connor to the GU Energy team. Having most recently served as Senior Marketing Manager for Austin, Texas, based Trigger Point Performance, O’Connor brings over eight years of marketing, public relations and advertising experience to the table.
Her professional background also includes a Director of Integrated Marketing and Social Media position at Pivotal Fitness, as well as Global Customer & Channel Marketing Communications Manager position with Hewlett-Packard.

As Senior Marketing Manager O’Connor will be responsible for overseeing consumer marketing strategy, as well as implementation of PR, social media, advertising and media planning, consumer promotions, and strategic partnerships.
