Nutrition guru, Joel Enoch at Triathlon Show 2013

Sports and active lifestyle nutrition expert Joel Enoch will be available at the Clif Bar sampling stand (G23) during the Triathlon Show (1-3 March 2013) at Sandown Park, UK. Joel will be hosting free ten-minute active lifestyle nutrition consultations to all visitors. The session will provide athletes with a tailored nutrition checklist and individual guidelines to help all achieve their goals.

Clif Bar and Joel Enoch are also running a 45 minute seminar on Saturday and Sunday, covering daily performance nutrition and athletic performance nutrition. The seminar will provide information on the fundamentals of nutrition for daily performance and will allow visitors to learn the role of macronutrients such as carbohydrates and proteins in the body.

In addition, it will allow show-goers to gain a greater understanding of how applying sports nutrition principles and having a nutrition plan for what, when and how to eat nutrition foods can help improve athletic performance.

To book a one-to-one session, show visitors can go to the Clif Bar sampling stand (G23) when they arrive.

In addition to seeing Joel Enoch, visitors to the Triathlon Show will be able to run in a 10K, 5K or 2K, and gain lots of information from major triathlon brands. Whether the visitor is new to multisport racing or a veteran long-course triathlete, the Triathlon Show will provide information on everything from training plans to choosing the right kit, nutrition options to avoid injury and to how to improve their swim stroke.

The Triathlon Show will be held at Sandown Park in Esher. Pre-booked tickets cost £9 for the weekend and £12 on the door. Under 16s go free and there will be free parking and a shuttle bus for those arriving by train at Esher station. Entry on Friday is free to visitors who book in advance via the show website.

David Townsend, founder of The Triathlon Show said “2012 was an extraordinary year for triathlon with the Brownlee brothers’ success, another British lady taking the Kona crown and Daniel Halksworth taking the UK Ironman title. Triathlon continues to grow exponentially and 2012 has only reinforced this development.

“The Triathlon Show provides visitors the chance to gain expert advice, brilliant deals from brands and to meet with fellow athletes. We look forward to welcoming everyone in 2013.”

2013 also sees a new Triathlon Club Village where local triathlon clubs can meet, socialise and showcase their offerings to potential new members.
