In an effort to help meet strong demand for booth space at the upcoming Interbike International Expo, show organizers have added a new ballroom for exhibitors within the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
Harkening back to Interbike’s last year at the Sands Convention Center, the new area will be located on the lower level of the show in the same ballroom as event registration, and will be called The Lab (primarily showcasing new companies that have never exhibited at Interbike).
“More than 200 new brands will be exhibiting at the show this year and our sales department continues to be inundated with booth requests,” said Pat Hus, Vice President of Interbike. “We’re glad to have been able to secure the new space and help these companies introduce their products to North America’s IBDs.”
The ability to see new products and services continues to be one of the top reasons why retailers attend Interbike. In the 2013 Interbike post-show survey, 91% of attendees said that ‘Interbike helps me explore and discover new products, new product categories, new services and/or product trends.”’
Brad Hill, owner of the Goodale’s Bike Shop stores in New Hampshire agrees. “I’ve attended every Interbike since the first show, and one of the biggest reasons we continue to attend is to see new things,” said Hill. “You never know what the next big item will be, and it’s important for my team to be exposed to the latest products available to the industry.”
Numerous major brands are also returning to the leading North American bike trade show and increasing their floor space, including Giant Bicycle, The Italian Trade Commission (ITC), ABUS, Marin Bikes, Smith Optics, Stan’s NoTubes, Opus Bikes, Club Ride, Thompson, Hawley, WTB, Pure Fix and more.
A limited number of booths are available in The Lab, and can be purchased directly via the Interbike organisers. Contact Andria Klinger, Sales Director at +1 949 226 5745 / andria.klinger[at]emeraldexpo.com for more information.
Interbike returns to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center beginning with OutDoor Demo in Boulder City, Nevada, on 8-9 September 2014, followed by the Interbike Expo on 10-12 September 2014.
