This year, the Tour de France could involve a trip of a lifetime through France for a lucky competition winner. As part of its sponsorship of Le Tour, PowerBar is now running a competition that will give the winner an opportunity to ‘experience the Tour de France like never before’.
4 days, 2 people, 1 unforgettable trip
The first prize winner will be closer to the action, the route and the riders. Also, PowerBar will show the winner and a companion around Paris to discover the culinary side of France.
The lucky two people will get to chat with the riders, stroll through the technical area and hop on board the advertising caravan to follow the race. With VIP treatment at the winners’ ceremony in Paris to round things off, the 4-day trip for two to the Tour de France will be an unforgettable trip.

Departure for home
2nd – 5th prizes:
PowerBar is the official sports nutrition supplier of the BMC Racing Team; and is giving away an original signed race jersey of the BMC Racing Team to four lucky prize winners.
6th – 15th prizes:
During one stage of the Tour de France, a rider roughly needs 6,000 calories. That’s about as much as a PowerBar product package (value €100) contains. Ten winners will stand the chance of winning one of these nutrition bundles.
To win, competition entrants simply need to answer the following (not too challenging!) question online on the PowerBar website:
In which country does the Tour de France start in 2014? United Kingdom, France or Netherlands.
PowerBar would like to give everyone the chance to participate in the prize draw. However, due to legal regulations, the prize draw is only open to persons with their place of residence in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Metropolitan France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom. Participants must be 18 years of age.
