Miami Tri Events, the company behind City Bikes Ironman 70.3 Miami, has confirmed the return of OrthoNOW as the official Medical Care Provider of the race, which takes place on 26 October.
According to OrthoNOW, it is not a traditional orthopedic practice. The organisation specializes in offering top-notch orthopedic care, while also offering patients urgent service. ‘Every patient at OrthoNOW can be assured that their injury will be treated by a specialist and delivered in a stress-free, upscale environment.’
During the three day expo at Bayfront Park, Miami, on 24-26 October, OrthoNOW will be present and offering both athletes and spectators information on its services. OrthoNOW will also be offering finisher athletes at the City Bikes Ironman 70.3 Miami event medical assistance and rehabilitation at the finish line.
This service is seen to be of huge benefit for the participating athletes, as OrthoNOW will offer medical services specialized and backed by an understanding of athletic health issues.
“OrthoNOW is more than just a clinic, they are a group of specialists that know the exact medical needs of an athlete, and therefore this is a necessity in the athletic community,” said Wilber Anderson, CEO of Miami Tri Events.
OrthoNOW Orthopaedic Urgent Care Center is a walk-in care clinic located in Doral, Florida, with 15 specialists on staff that treat broken bones, sprains, torn ligaments and muscles, cuts, sports and workers’ compensation injuries. OrthoNOW has an in-house digital X-ray, MRI, on-site operating rooms and provides follow up care, and rehabilitation. OrthoNOW accepts most major insurance, has extended weekend hours and no appointment is necessary.
