Bavaria, Germany-based Corratec has confirmed that it is engaging in a new collaboration through an official bike sponsorship with a pro cycling team in the upcoming season.
Corratec adds that contracts are signed and enacted. This, as yet, unnamed team will ride the Corratec CCT EVO road bike and C-Time time trial bike for all races in Europe and internationally. Updates on the new sponsorship deal are expected in the coming weeks.
In 1990, Konrad Irlbacher founded Corratec in the heart of Bavaria, in Raubling near Munich. The brand name Corratec is derived and inspired from ‘Corrado’, the Italian for Konrad. According to the company its ethos symbolizes innovation, intensive research and a careful implementation in new product developments.
Corratec has 120 employees working on a full range of high-tech road, time trial and mountain bikes, trekking and city bikes as well as eBikes and pedelecs. The company is building momentum as one of Germany’s most successful bike manufacturers, with partners in over 40 countries.
