Scottish bikewear and accessories brand, Endura, is the new clothing sponsor for the Cervélo-Bigla Pro Cycling Team. With Endura and other key sponsors heavily involved in aero technology and research, the Cervélo-Bigla Pro Cycling Team will look to have the best equipment available for the 2016 season.

The 2016 line-up of the top level women’s pro cycling team includes Stephanie Pohl, Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio, Carmen Small, Lotta Lepistö, Lisa Klein, Clara Koppenburg, and Joëlle Numainville, and more riders are expected to join shortly. Cervélo Cycles announced its title sponsorship for 2016 last week; further team sponsors include Rotor and Enve.

Endura has been supplying technical cycling apparel to Movistar Team, the UCI WorldTour leaders, for two seasons – working closely with the Grand Tour and Classics winners to develop some of the fastest and most comfortable kit in the pro peloton.

Endura notes that its commitment to continual development and high tech in-house production facilities has been instrumental in helping Movistar achieve a host of fantastic results including a successful attempt on the Hour Record, three National TT titles and an impressive array of WorldTour podiums.

Feedback gathered from team riders was utilised in the development of the Endura FS260-Pro SL Bibshorts and has led to a string of products feeding through into the Endura range including the super light FS260-Pro SL Lite SS Jersey and the FS260-Pro SL Classics Jersey.

Likewise, Endura’s sponsorship of world class triathletes, Jodie Swallow, Rachel Joyce, and Beth Gerdes, as well as multiple para-cycling World Champion and medallist Denise Schindler, has resulted in valuable development feedback on the new women’s FS260-Pro SL Bibshort.

The Scottish company will use the riders of Cervélo-Bigla Pro Cycling Team as an elite group of high mileage performance product testers – to help build its range of market leading performance wear for female riders.
