Exclusive media access at Eurobike Media Days 2016

Eurobike Media Days 2015

For the next edition of Eurobike Media Days, taking place in Kirchberg, Tirol, Austria, from 28-30 June 2016, the organizers of Eurobike want to further expand the event’s platform. The Eurobike trade show team add that all manufacturers of finished sports bikes will receive an opportunity to make an early presentation of their innovations for the 2017 model year to many of the world’s most important industry publications and portals in an exclusive setting.

With the participation of 19 companies with 25 different brands and more than 120 journalists from all over the world, the premiere of the Eurobike Media Days was seen as a success by the organizers.

“In 2016, we intend to build on this success and are confident that more partners will come on board,” announced Eurobike Head Stefan Reisinger. “Eurobike Media Days offer the ideal opportunity to lay the groundwork for the 2017 bike season early. The location, the Tyrol town of Kirchberg, offers the ideal conditions to successfully implement this event concept.”

The Eurobike team notes that, in the last few years, many providers of sport bikes have attempted to individually invite trade journalists to press events. Between April and July, editorial offices typically receive up to 30 invitations to different product premiere events. Eurobike adds that ‘This situation, trade journalists have said, is no longer sustainable.’

For bike manufacturers as well, these events generate high costs and use up staff resources. With this in mind, the Eurobike Media Days are intended to bundle these many different individual presentations together – with the goal of presenting the bicycle industry’s innovations and trends to an exclusive circle of international media representative in a real-world bike setting, well before the actual Eurobike show itself (31 August to 4 September 4, 2016).

To put on the Eurobike Media Days for 2016, the Eurobike team has been strengthened by the addition of external project coordinator Christina Kulling.
