The Triathlon Show: London – Driven by SEAT (previously the Triathlon Plus Show), returns to ExCeL, London, for the second year from 12-15 February 2015. The organizers, Telegraph Media Group, note that the event ‘provides the perfect environment for visitors to explore the fast-expanding sport of triathlon, as well as the component parts – swimming, running and cycling.’
A wide range of exhibitors will offer visitors the chance to get their hands on the latest equipment, clothing and accessories, to pick up information on events and training camps and to learn how to improve their technique from experienced coaches.
A release from the show points out that ‘After buying a bike, the wetsuit is one of the more expensive purchases when getting kitted-out for a triathlon so it is essential to get the right one.’ To ensure that visitors benefit from the best advice, the show’s wetsuit testing pool will offer visitors the chance to try a variety of wetsuits from a range of top brands, with experts on hand to ensure athletes buy the right wetsuit and one that fits correctly.
Coaches from award-winning, swim-coaching company Swim for Tri, will be on hand offering group master-classes, 1-2-1 analysis sessions and technique demonstrations across all four days in the pool. For those who are looking to take to the water and hone technique, these coaching sessions are worth attending.
Visitors can hear from current and former pro triathletes, coaches, nutrition experts and more at the Tri Experts Theatre. Here, show visitors will have the chance to get an insight into the lives of top triathletes and find out what drives them to the podium. Industry experts will also be giving advice on training, nutrition, mind-set and more. The timetable of talks will be available in the coming months and will be posted as soon as this becomes available.
Athletes browsing the show floor will also be able to chat to experts in the Triathlon England Lounge. For any questions, Triathlon England coaches and experts will be on hand and can offer advice – whether someone is looking how to get into the sport, where to start, kit advice or to learn how to improve performance.
The Triathlon Show: London will also be home to a 500m Cycling Test Track, providing visitors with the chance to try out the latest triathlon and road bikes from a wide range of manufacturers.
The Triathlon Show: London takes place alongside The London Bike Show, which means that there will be hundreds of bikes on display, as well as The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show and the London International Dive Show (Sat/ Sun only). A ticket to the Triathlon Show: London will allow visitors access to all four events – offering more value for money and the chance to explore new interests making it a jam packed day out!
The 2014 event took place alongside The London Bike Show and The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show, and attracted 45,289 visitors over four days.
