IRONMAN has announced it is utilizing Borderfree, now a part of Pitney Bowes, to expand its online merchandise sales internationally. IRONMAN is using Borderfree’s global ecommerce software and international shipping services to offer its customers… ‘a simple and seamless shopping experience to purchase apparel, gear and accessories in over 40 currencies from more than 220 countries and territories around the world.’

With the new system, global customers can view their order total, including shipping fees, customs tariffs and taxes, at checkout. The total is guaranteed at the exchange rate set when orders are placed. Shoppers can choose to pay all duties and taxes upfront during the buying experience or upon delivery when they receive their purchased items.
