As the space race for prime racing locations continues across the United States, the team at Multirace have confirmed the addition of a new race venue at Riverfront Park, located in historic Cocoa Village, Florida. According to Multirace, the new site gives access to nearly 10 acres of beautiful river-front land set squarely in the middle of downtown Cocoa.
Florida-based event organizer MultiRace has stepped up its growth plans in recent months. In November 2014, Multirace confirmed the acquisition of the Key West Triathlon (TRIKW). Following the deal, the Key West Triathlon on 6 December 2014 became an integral part of the MultiRace roster of triathlon events.
A release from Multirace notes that Riverfront Park, in Cocoa Village offers a number of advantages. ‘The bike and run courses feature stunning views of the Indian River. When racing, athletes will finish near the amphitheater, where friends and family will be waiting while enjoying the many amenities of Riverfront Park. Athletes and their entourage can then spend the day visiting the quaint shops in historic Cocoa Village.’
Located in historic Cocoa Village the Riverfront Park in combination, with Lee Wenner and Taylor Parks, gives the public permanent access to nearly 10 acres of prime river-front land squarely in the middle of downtown Cocoa.
Facilities at Riverfront Park include: swweeping green parkland; a playground area; amphitheater, for outdoor concerts and other events facing the beautiful Indian River; boardwalk; spacious covered pavilions; areas for fishing, water sports and boat launching.
