Oakley, one of the leading sports brands in the world, is the new official ‘Eyewear Partner’ of the 2015 Vitality World Triathlon London, as well as its sister ITU World Triathlon Series events in Abu Dhabi, Hamburg and Stockholm.

California-based Oakley has made a strong name for itself over the years with innovative as well as high-quality products and currently presents the new lens technology, Prizm, which was developed to specifically optimize visibility for certain types of sports and environments. According to the company, this is especially helpful in ensuring more safety in cycling.

With The Vitality World Triathlon London hosting what is arguably the most competitive field in an ITU World Series event this season across both the men’s and women’s races, it will be fascinating to see who will reign supreme on the iconic London 2012 Hyde Park course.

Both the men’s and women’s elite races will take place on Sunday 31 May. The men’s race is at 15:05 BST and the women’s at 16:45. Tickets for the Grandstand are £27.75 for adults and £11.00 for children (under 15 years old).

Tickets can be purchased online at worldtrilondon.com/event_info/grandstand/

Oakley is constantly in search of new challenges and solutions. Over the years, the brand has not only established over 600 mandates for patents, but also a certain cult status. Both top-tier and recreational athletes around the world now make use of Oakley innovations, such as High Definition Optics (HDO), which is integrated in all Oakley sunglasses and corrective eyewear.

Oakley has already expanded its standing as a worldwide leading brand for sports eyewear – alongside its apparel, lifestyle & corrective eyewear and accessories.
