Bags and accessories specialist OGIO International has announced the grand opening of its new Draper, Utah headquarters scheduled for 16 November 2015. At 25,000 square feet, the new office is nearly double the size of OGIO’s previous headquarters resulting from ‘the company’s impressive growth over the past five years.’
OGIO’s fresh office space is designed to accentuate the company’s design, marketing and sports-inspired culture. The unique architectural design, artistic furnishings and abundance of collaborative discussion areas are aimed at sparking OGIO’s creative juices to ‘design more adrenaline-pumping collections for decades to come.’
“The blueprints of our new headquarters were carefully selected to align with our creative DNA and collaborative spirit. We wanted the new workspace to embody the elements of a design studio, encouraging and inspiring unparalleled creativity,” commented Tony Palma, OGIO’s CEO.
“Architectural designs fused with environmentally conscious materials and lighting are the showcase of our new office.”
OGIO’s new HQ features a showroom for retail customer meetings and consumer focus groups. The showcase will include various sports and lifestyle segments that OGIO designs its collections for. In addition, the new headquarters boasts an on-site fitness centre to support the company’s healthy and fit culture.
Cascading lighting, monolith design features, unique work stations constructed from reclaimed steel structure beams, and ergonomic award-winning seating are additional carefully selected features designed to match the creative DNA of OGIO.
“Utah is proud to have such a long-standing and dynamic global company located here and thriving in our great state,” said Utah Governor Gary Herbert.
