TRX, a specialist in functional training and the creator of the Suspension Trainer and Suspension Training concept, has teamed up with PEAR Sports, the leader in app-based, real-time audio coaching. The new partnership sees PEAR Sports provide interactive training to TRX newcomers and devotees ‘anytime and anywhere, at home or on the road.’
Due to its portable, dynamic format, TRX’s full-body workouts can reward users with a range of fitness benefits. As part of this new partnership, PEAR Sports will give unfamiliar users step-by-step guidance on the most effective ways to start training with TRX.
For the TRX-initiated user, PEAR will build on their past experiences, providing expert information on how to improve their workouts while experimenting with engaging, diverse routines. PEAR users training in other areas such as running, cycling, or swimming, will experience tailored TRX sessions that benefit their main area of fitness focus while building their overall strength, mobility, and flexibility.
The TRX exercises are available in the PEAR Sports App (available on iTunes), and have been developed by certified TRX instructors for users who land at all points on the fitness spectrum. While the TRX workouts are new to PEAR’s stable of offerings, the end result remains the same: ‘expert fitness counsel served up via real-time audio and visual instruction’.
PEAR offers a platform for users to gain a comprehensive understanding of how best to use TRX to reach their fitness goals.

TRX ‘How To’, an introduction to the training system, TRX ‘Strong’ and TRX ‘Toned and Tight’, two strength workouts aimed at helping users make impressive fitness strides – will all be offered with the initial PEAR/TRX rollout.
By the end of 2015, a total of 10 TRX workouts will be available in PEAR’s collection of curated fitness content.
