‘Shaping the Future of Triathlon’ at second Global TBI Conference in Roth

Triathlon Business International (TBI), the industry organization dedicated to promoting the sport and the business of triathlon internationally, has today announced the speakers and program for its 2nd Global Triathlon Conference.

The event, ‘Shaping the Future of Triathlon’, takes place on 9-11 July in Roth, Germany, in conjunction with DATEV Challenge Roth on 12 July. Registration for the conference is open. The conference will be held at Kulturfabrik, the event hall of the City of Roth, with the opening reception on 9 July in Nuremberg.

This second global conference targets retailers, event directors, service providers, manufacturers, industry executives and athletes ‘who make their living in the fastest growing sport on the planet: triathlon.’ The content of the Roth conference will be led by experts and speakers who will provide practical, functional and motivational information that covers the state of the sport internationally, big data and its impact on industry decisions, sport professionalism, sponsorships, and some of the hottest topics in triathlon.

Attendees also will have the opportunity to make valuable connections through the Speed Networking session, the Erdinger Unweisse Party at the Roth Expo, and the Welcome Party powered by Beyern3 at Market Square in Roth. There also will be a special tour on Friday night of the 16th century castle, Schloss Ratibor, hosted by Roth Mayor Ralph Edelhaeusser.

There is a VIP package to Challenge Roth available only to Conference attendees. Normally, the price for VIP tickets to the DATEV Challenge Roth is offered only to existing sponsors and is €250 (excl. VAT). In conjunction with the conference, Challenge Family is making a limited number of 100 VIP tickets available at an exclusive price of €100 EUR (excl. VAT) each.

The inaugural TBI Global Conference was held in September 2013 in London, preceding the ITU Triathlon World Championships Grand Final and was a successful forum for businesses and multisport professionals who wanted to learn, exchange ideas and make connections that helped their future success in the business and sport.

Conference registration is US$275/€244 for TBI members and US$375/€332 for non-members. The fee includes all conference sessions, two hosted lunches, the hosted reception and attendee sway bags. Online registration closes 10 July at 10:00 (Central European Summer Time).
