TriggerPoint Performance, a division of Implus, has announced an open call for applications from triathlon, running and cycling athletes looking to secure a spot on the 2016 Team TriggerPoint. The team will be managed in conjunction with sports marketing firm Team Sports, which will handle the day-to-day team operations and athlete support.

Team members will race in custom TriggerPoint kits and enjoy membership perks, including products and education from TriggerPoint and other team partners, such as Balega, Fuel Belt, ROKA, Road ID, 2XU, and ISM Saddles.

“Our roots are in the multi-sport arena, where TriggerPoint started more than 13 years ago,” said Marco Garsed, Vice President of Marketing for TriggerPoint. “Since then, we have continually focused on empowering athletes of all levels to move better through our premium, innovative products and education. Triathletes and endurance athletes have really embraced the power of our products and it’s important that we give back to the community that first believed in us.”

Team TriggerPoint athletes will be expected to give back to the multi-sport community through event participation, volunteerism and as positive brand ambassadors in their daily training, racing and social media activity. Applications will be accepted starting now through 11 December 2015.
