USA Cycling announced on Tuesday this week that it is accepting applications for open Membership and Event Services Director positions.
“We seek two highly qualified individuals from within our sport to lead USA Cycling’s Membership and Event Services Departments— two absolutely critical senior leadership positions that will sit at the heart of our efforts to grow and improve the sport of cycling in America,” said USA Cycling CEO Derek Bouchard-Hall.
“Our search will be nationwide and candidates from all cycling backgrounds will be welcome. We are absolutely committed to running a fair and transparent search process focused on finding the most qualified and passionate leaders we can.”
The Membership Director will be responsible for leading the development of the USA Cycling Membership Department, which is focused on serving the needs and interests of bike racers and cycling enthusiasts.
The Director of Event Services will be responsible for leading the transformation of the Event Services Department, which is focused on developing ‘creative and well-crafted policies and products serving the needs and interests of event promoters.’
Both positions will be based in Colorado Springs and require demonstrated professional management experience in addition to deep knowledge of the American bike racing ecosystem.
