ACTIVE Network, the global event registration specialist, has reaffirmed its commitment to the sport of triathlon with an extension of its partnership with IRONMAN. For 16 years, ACTIVE has been the exclusive registration provider for IRONMAN and has ‘worked to grow the brand and its events throughout the world.’
Today, ACTIVE powers 175 IRONMAN, IRONMAN 70.3 and other events in over 20 countries, registering more than 275,000 participants for IRONMAN annually. As IRONMAN moves into new markets, ACTIVE notes that it it will ‘leverage ACTIVE’s rich data insights, global marketing prowess and deep, hands-on regional expertise to drive participation and brand visibility.’

IRONMAN will also use ACTIVE Network Activity Cloud to gain data insights into participant and market trends and social media behaviour, ‘connecting the IRONMAN brand to new audiences and growing participation for its events.’
ACTIVE adds that it will enable IRONMAN to ‘identify new markets, optimize its registration pricing model and provide untapped insights into its loyal participant base to increase engagement.’
