UK cycle insurance specialist Bikmo Plus has been announced as one of the shortlisted FStech Awards companies for Best Use of Technology in Customer Service. Amongst the shortlisted companies are some of the biggest names in the financial sector, including Coutts, Leeds Building Society and Natwest to name a few.
This is seen as a phenomenal achievement for Bikmo considering its launch into the industry 18 months ago. Bikmo adds that it is ‘continuing to revolutionize the cycle insurance industry through the innovative use of technology and excellent customer service.’
Born from a passion for cycling and a desire to enhance and simplify insuring cyclists’ bikes and kit with a simple sign-up and payment process, cloud based managing of policy details, and competitive monthly or annual premiums, Bikmo argues that it is paving the way for the future of cycle insurance.
David George, Bikmo CEO & Founder said “We are delighted to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award amongst some of the biggest names in the financial sector. Our first priority has always and will always be our customers, so to be recognized for our innovative approach in customer service is brilliant.”
Now in their 16th year, the FStech Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the field of information technology within the UK and EMEA financial services sector. Winning entries come from financial services institutions and technology suppliers who are leading the way in such areas as social media, customer service, compliance, mobile, online, systems integration, outsourcing and data governance.
The awards are independently judged and the winners will be announced at the FStech Awards Gala Dinner & Ceremony on 17 March 2016 at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
