Challenge Family and Marathon-Photos.com have reached a new agreement that sees Marathon-Photos.com continue as the Preferred Athlete Photography Partner of Challenge Family through to 2018.

Marathon-Photos.com Managing Director Francis Kay said he was delighted to further develop the relationship with Challenge Family. “We have connections with Challenge Family going right back to the first Challenge Roth in 2002. Many of our photographers have completed triathlons so they know what an achievement it is.”

Since 1999 Marathon-Photos.com has photographed more than 5,500 endurance events in 66 countries. It has photographed 25 million athletes, with more than 130 million images online.

“We were the first company in the world to display marathon photos online, searchable by name or bib number,” Kay added. “We have photographed many Challenge Family events over the years and we look forward to our relationship with Challenge Family continuing to grow in the years ahead.”

Zibi Szlufcik, Challenge Family CEO, said the partnership helped to deliver on Challenge Family’s principles of quality and leadership. “Marathon-Photos.com has been a long standing market leader and pioneer and we are proud to partner with such an innovative company who shares our values.”

Challenge Family has grown to have 50 races across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas with an ‘athlete-first philosophy’. More than 70,000 athletes participate in Challenge Family festival events each year.

“Completing a Challenge Family event can be a lifetime achievement and to have a partner who can perfectly capture those memories and help our participants re-live and easily share their race day experience is extremely important to us,” Szlufcik added.
