Leanda Cave, four-time triathlon world champion, has announced an on-line bidding auction on eBay, with all proceeds going directly to The Leanda Cave Foundation. Triathlon fans will be able to bid on a variety of items, including race kit from some of the world’s best pros, a Ventum Ultegra Di2 bike, and a wine country weekend getaway to the world renowned Sonoma Mission Inn in California.
“Empowering women through triathlon is a cause I am passionate about, and thanks to some awesome donations from great sponsors and friends in triathlon, I am excited to announce an online auction for some amazing items,” said Leanda Cave. “Please bid and help female participation grow in triathlon!”

The Leanda Cave Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, organization dedicated to creating new opportunities for women of all ages in sport through triathlon. The foundation focuses on strengthening the community by giving individual attention to the empowerment of women of all ages.
With an all-women triathlon team program, the foundation creates ‘a comfortable environment for growth as athletes, as learners, and as individuals’. Funds raised will help develop and grow an all-woman triathlon team and mentor program that will empower female athletes of all levels.
Spearheaded by four time triathlon world champion, Leanda Cave, TEAM LC was created as a women’s ambassadorship program for both elite as well as amateur age groupers. The key to success of TEAM LC is rooted in its athletes… ‘Triathletes from all walks of life make up the team and each contributes in their own special way.
