Rev3 confirms Team RWB as 2016 Official Charity Partner

Team RWB and Rev3

Rev3 Triathlon has announced Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB) as its Official Charity Partner for the 2016 season. This relationship ‘aims to advance Team RWB’s mission to enrich the lives of America’s veterans and to encourage military participation in Rev3 events.’

“Rev3 is an American made, military family owned business and honouring our veterans is important to us,” said Eric Opdyke, President of Rev3 Triathlon. “It is a privilege to partner with an organization such as Team RWB, who does so much to improve the lives of active and retired military.”

He continued, “We have a history of welcoming veterans, active duty military and their extended family members to our events. In 2016 we plan many more benefits and perks. This partnership will serve to further our commitment to those that serve our country.”

As the Official Charity Partner, Team RWB will be the beneficiary of Rev3 fundraising efforts. Rev3 race participants will have the option upon registration checkout to make a donation; they can also forego a race t-shirt and give that money directly to Team RWB instead.

Rev3 recently announced a Military and First Responders Program that includes discounted race entry and special perks on race weekend. These perks will include American Flags at transition spots and a Military Division. Team RWB will also have expo space at Rev3 races to continue to educate the community about its mission.

“Team RWB is excited to be back as the Official Charity Partner of Rev3 Triathlon,” said Brad Williams, Team RWB National Triathlon Team Director.

“We are looking forward to all the races they have to offer this year, but especially Cedar Point, as it is on the 15th Anniversary of September 11th. This will be a huge event for our members, as we continue to honour those who have sacrificed so much since then, as well as those who sacrificed so much before then.”

He added, “We are glad to have Rev3 Back in Blue and able to be a small part of their growth in the USA.”
