Specialist wetsuit and apparel brand Huub has confirmed the appointment of industry specialist Tom Whitfield as the company’s new Global Sales Manager. The appointment marks another milestone in Huub’s ascendancy – as the brand continues to expand its footprint internationally.
Tom Whitfield has worked in the sports industry for over 20 years. He started out at a general sports shop, which he later ended up managing and evolving into a specialist running shop. As Tom’s passion for triathlon grew, he went from this to set up his own triathlon store.
In 2012, Tom joined blueseventy; and over the last three and a half years, he managed the European side of blueseventy’s business. Tom is a multiple IRONMAN & IRONMAN 70.3 finisher and has ‘a huge love for the sport of triathlon at any distance.’
Tom said, “I am incredibly excited to be joining the most innovative brand in the triathlon industry. With such a passionate, friendly and motivated team, Huub really are leading the way within the swimming and triathlon market.”
