220 Triathlon Awards 2017: winners announced

The winners of the 220 Triathlon Awards 2017 have now now been unveiled. The UK-based magazine asked readers to vote for their favourites in 21 categories, from elite athletes through to ‘innovative product of the year’. There was no awards ceremony this year, which was a shame for those in the UK tri community and industry who’ve enjoyed the (at times drunken) bash in previous years!

Instead, the winners have received confirmation via e-mail – with the awards making their way to them over the coming weeks. Congratulations to each award winner:

*For this particular award, once the initial shortlist was drawn up from the first round of open voting, the top five individuals were put before a panel of judges, which included: 220 Editor Helen Webster, 220 Deputy Editor Liz Barrett, 220 Features Editor Matt Baird, and 220 columnists Tim Heming and Martyn Brunt.
