AU$15,000 cash prize pool for Snowies MultiSport Festival in Australia

In2Adventure has announced a AU$15,000 cash prize pool for the Snowies MultiSport Festival hosted in ‘Australia’s home of adventure’, the Snowy Mountains, New South Wales, in February 2018. The festival will be hosted by In2Adventure, the team that brought the ITU Cross Triathlon World Championships to the Snowy Mountains Region in 2016.

In2Adventure has been hosting specialist off road and adventure events throughout Australia for over ten years. “We are very excited to announce the cash prizes for the festival which already boasts a strong field of elite racers from across Australia and overseas,” said Event Director Robyn Lazenby. “It is great to be able to offer another strong incentive to be a part of these amazing events in one of the best adventure destinations in the world.”

The prize pool will be attributed across the following events:

  • Snowies MTB Festival | 9-11 Feb 2018 | AU$5,000 cash prize pool
  • Australian Cross Triathlon Championships | 24 Feb 2018 | AU$5,000 cash prize pool
  • Snowies Ultra Trail Run Festival | 25 Feb 2018 | $2,000 cash prize pool
  • NSW Dirt Master Championships | 24-25 Feb 2018 | AU$3,000 cash prize pool

The Snowy Mountains is set to come alive with off road enthusiasts in the month of February and as well as offering some of the world’s most challenging mountain terrain for elite racers, the festival also includes courses for all ages and skill levels with Standard, Sprint, Junior, Teaser and Dirt Kids courses – as well as fun runs, short MTB events and Free Kids Mud Rats events throughout the two weekends of the festival.

Entries are open now and some events are close to being sold out. The organising team at In2Adventure advises athletes to be quick be guarantee a race slot and stake a claim on the AU$15,000 prize pool on offer.
