The Cardiff Triathlon is airing on mainstream UK TV station Channel 4 this Saturday 15 July at 06:40 GMT and on Ch4 +1 at 07:40. The highlights show is presented by Aly Vance and produced by specialist production firm Dream Team Television.
Taking place on 25 June, the 2017 Cardiff Triathlon saw over 1,400 competitors take part across the Olympic, British Triathlon Elite Sprint, Sprint and Super Sprint distances. The 2018 edition of the triathlon will take place on Sunday 24 June, with ‘many more exciting additions to the event to be announced in the coming months.’
Taking place in and around Cardiff Bay with a transition area in Roald Dahl Plass, the Cardiff Triathlon boasts a closed road, city location. 2017’s race featured live race streaming on Welsh language channel S4C, as well as a race highlights show.
