Challenge Finder, a UK based platform for mass participation event search, has launched its first equity crowdfunding campaign on leading platform Crowdcube.
Challenge Finder, formerly known as MyChallengeHQ, ‘gives challengers a platform to search for, store and book their next event.’ Its goal is to become a global aggregator for the challenge industry, using data to create value for users, event organisers and brands.
Charlie Krarup, founder and CEO of Challenge Finder said, “Building Challenge Finder has been the biggest challenge of our lives, and we couldn’t have done it without the support and motivation of the people out there taking on challenges week in, week out. It’s really exciting to be able to offer them all a chance to own a piece of the business, and join us on our journey.”
Challenge Finder is aiming to raise £500,000 and the funds will be used to expand the company’s team, accelerate product development and reach out to more challengers.
The company adds that the challenge market is huge, and growing; and Challenge Finder engages participants, event organisers and brands. The British Heart Foundation, Virgin Strive and Rat Race have all used the platform to reach target audiences; and commercial partners for the Challenge Finder platform include GoPro, CLIF Bar and activewear brand J Lindeberg.
Charlie Krarup added, “It’s such an exciting time for the industry, and we know that it is crying out for a proper online market place. With the support of Crowdcube and all the challengers out there, that’s what we’re going to build.”
