Günter Netzer has laid down his duties as Executive Director of Infront Sports & Media, a Wanda Sports company alongside IRONMAN. Netzer is retiring from all current functions. Since the inception of the company, Günter Netzer has ‘played a crucial role in securing success for Infront, helping to develop it into what it is today: the leading sports marketing company in the world.’
A release from Infront continued to note that ‘Günter Netzer acted as an ambassador for Infront in the world of sports, contributing his vast network, tremendous experience and sheer determination.’

We are very proud to have had him representing and supporting us in the world of sport and especially football. Infront will miss him and so will I personally.”
