HOKA ONE ONE, a division of Deckers Brands, has confirmed a partnership with Seattle-based running apparel line Oiselle to create a special edition shoe inspired by Oiselle’s spring 2017 line. HOKA ONE ONE will update its bestselling Clayton 2 style in this exclusive collaborative endeavour. The new shoe is being sold exclusively on HOKA ONE ONE’s and Oiselle’s websites – following the launch on 6 April.

Designed to help dedicated runners achieve maximum performance, the HOKA ONE ONE and Oiselle collaboration aims to go beyond a typical retailer partnership – it is seen as an extension of brand synergy that is ‘deeply rooted in empowering women and all runners through the concept of flight’.

“We thought Oiselle would be a good partner for several reasons – they’re solidly rooted in running and create a product that is beautiful, wearable and versatile, while also sharing similar brand values of providing consumers with the inspiration and tools they need to reach their fitness goals,” said Gretchen Weimer, VP of Product at HOKA ONE ONE.

Both brands added that they are connected by their desire of providing a lifestyle product that is both aesthetically beautiful and functional. This special edition Clayton 2, which will retail for US$160, will be available in two colourways: the first in shades of silver with a pink sole as a refreshing detail, and the second drawing inspiration from midnight and cinder tones. The colourways tie directly to Oiselle’s spring 2017 palette, allowing fans of both brands to coordinate their running gear with their shoes this spring. Oiselle’s spring apparel line will also retail on HOKA ONE ONE’s brand site, timed to the collaboration’s launch date.
