Jack London Square will welcome back the Oakland Triathlon, billed as ‘the largest urban triathlon on the US West Coast’, on Sunday 27 August 2017. The event runs on the Sunday from 05:00 to 13:00 PT, with packet pickup, late registration and the expo on Saturday 26 August from 11:00 to 17:00.
Now in its fourth year at Jack London Square, the Oakland Triathlon provides a weekend full of safe fitness fun on the iconic Oakland waterfront, ‘offering a variety of races so that any age, skill or experience level can participate’. The Oakland Triathlon includes an Olympic triathlon, a sprint triathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, duathlon, and relay teams. Additionally, athletes and spectators can enjoy gourmet food and beverage, live music, and outstanding awards.
