The new adidas Sport eyewear – horizor – is the latest addition to the brand’s Sport Essentials line of sunglasses. The adidas horizor eyewear is built with a lightweight SPX frame, double-snap nose pads for optimum fit, and ‘8 base Vision Advantage polycarbonate lenses for clear vision and superior protection.’
Available in six different frame/lens combinations, as well as RX; according to Adidas, whether on or off the trail, the horizor meets the demands of an active lifestyle without sacrificing style.
A release from adidas adds that… The outside is turning into a playing field for all sports enthusiasts with the new horizor from adidas Sport eyewear. Not to be fooled by its great lifestyle appeal, the horizor can deliver during sports sessions thanks to numerous features, delivering perfect fit and clearest vision. Whether running on a narrow trail through the forest, slicing the asphalt on a bike or simply strolling through town with a coffee in your hand, the horizor will make a great impression all day long.
Thanks to its large frame, a maximum field of vision is offered up. While its size clearly caters to men, adidas adds that ‘a selection of trendy women-specific colours can also turn the horizor into a girl’s best friend’. The lightweight, flexible, and shatterproof SPX frame provides long-lasting comfort and can take a beating during activities, especially since the Quick-Release Hinge temples can snap away under load to avoid damage.
The mirrored 8-base Vision Advantage PC lenses in various colours offer light absorption and contrasting effect. Meanwhile, adidas Sport eyewear’s proprietary Light Stabilizing Technology can help to harmonize light fluctuations and prevent eye fatigue. Basic lens variations are also available.
The frame of the horizor is prescription-ready, with direct in-frame glazing or clip-in inserts to accommodate a wide range of vision abilities. The new horizor by adidas Sport eyewear is available in six different colour and filter combinations, starting at US$99.
