The expanding Long Course Weekend (LCW) will land in Mallorca, Spain, on 3-5 November 2017. The event will be based in the northern part of the island in Alcúdia. This is a sport-friendly area known internationally for its wide range of accommodation. The LCW organising team add that its wide offer of leisure, culture and gastronomy along with its incredible beaches make Alcúdia an unbeatable vacation destination.
Entries open on 16 January.
The Long Course Weekend Mallorca is a 3-day sporting festival where athletes swim on Friday, cycle on Saturday and run on Sunday. There are a multitude of distances and a special 4th medal for those that enter the Full Long Course Weekend and do the Long distance every day.
Nearly 2,500 competitors are expected to attend the LCW Mallorca with approximately 1,000 athletes attempting to receive the Long Course Weekend medal, which entails completing all three of the longest distances.
