The organisers of the Triathlon Show: London have announced a line-up of guest speakers for this year’s show, including former Olympic swimmer Mark Foster and Rio bronze medal winning triathlete Vicky Holland. The show, which is taking place at ExCel London between 16-19 February, will be… ‘boasting unrivalled access to the top triathlon brands and talent from around the world and the chance to try out their products, grill the experts behind them and the pros using them.’
Multiple World Champion Foster will be appearing at the shows Performance Theatre, at the hub of Triathlon Show: London, and will host some of the ‘biggest and most influential names that the sport has to offer’. As well as a Q&A with Foster, who will be sharing his insights into the world of competitive swimming and explaining what it takes to reach the top, speakers include Rio Olympics Bronze medallist and 2-time World Mixed Team Champion Vicky Holland alongside UK nutrition brand High5. In her talk, Vicky will tell her story, share some top tips and describe her Olympic podium experience.
The Triathlon Show: London team add that Mark and Vicky ‘will be joined by some of the world’s best coaches, nutritionists and inspirational athletes, who will be on hand to share their knowledge through a series of talks, Q&A sessions and even workshops to assess your technique help you improve and plan your training, all with a view to inspire and encourage you to swim, cycle and run your way to your full potential.’
HUUB and Zone3 wetsuits, Finis swim accessories and Swim Smooth coaching will join brands such as Cervélo and Scott bikes.
Michael Lemmel, one of the founders and race directors of the ÖTILLÖ SwimRun World Series will also talk the audience through what goes into producing one of the highest quality endurance sports and adventure racing events, in unique places around the world in an environmentally friendly way.
Bob De Wolf, General Manager of the BMC-Etixx Pro Triathlon team will explain what it takes to manage a top level sports team and how to develop athletes to their best.
Olympian, World and European medal winning track runner Jenny Meadows also knows a thing or two about running fast. According to The Triathlon Show: London, ‘With all the tips and training advice you need to help you sail past your competitors in the final leg, this is one to not be missed!’
Another speaker ,Mark Kleanthous has competed in over 490 triathlons and 38 IRONMAN events. With over 30 years of experience and a long history of coaching other athletes to success he’s an athlete with plenty of advice to give. In addition, UK wetsuit brand Zone3 is bringing triathlete and blogger Amy Kilpin and triathlon coach Joe Beer – who will be sharing some valuable training tips and how to get the most out of yourself and your equipment.
A ticket to the Triathlon Show: London, will also gain visitors entry into three other events that are running simultaneously; the London Bike Show, the Outdoor Adventure & Camping Show and Oceans Festival.
