Mass Participation Asia conference lands in Bangkok this April

MPA 2017

Having postponed the 2016 edition with respect to the passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Asia’s leading mass participation sports conference, Mass Participation Asia (MPA), is confirmed for 3-4 April 2017 at the Centara Grand Convention Centre in Bangkok, Thailand. Riding on the success of its inaugural edition, MPA is expected to host over 200 delegates from around the world in its effort to foster collaboration and drive best practices within the industry.

This year, MPA is themed ‘Inspiration from Beyond Mass Participation’ with a strong focus on what mass participation can learn from other sports and industries. Confirmed speakers so far include Victor Cui (ONE Championship), Neil Stewart (Facebook) and John Maclean amongst others.

The conference will also feature two new initiatives: an innovation incubator and industry reports, where the former seeks to shake the industry up with new concepts and technology while the latter serves as a platform for industry leaders to share key insights and knowledge.

Further details and Super Early Bird packages are now available through the MPA website. Triathlonbusiness.com readers can use the code TRI17 for a 5% discount at checkout.
