The Outlaw Half Nottingham 2018 sold all remaining general entries in around 8 minutes this morning. The increasingly-popular event is set for 20 May next year at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham, UK.
Now that all VIP and general entries have been sold, the only way to get a place is via Cancer Research UK, where places are available for as little as £50 with many months to fundraise for the charity. The organising team at OSB Events notes that general entry places will not become available again, even if competitors withdraw from the event.
OSB Events adds that the 2018 Outlaw Half Nottingham has attracted 1500 entries, 30% of which are female. The average age is 43, the oldest competitor is 75 and the youngest 20.
This year’s race will feature an elite wave for the first time. After trialling it at Holkham, the elite wave will feature in Nottingham at the request of competitors.
Entries for the Outlaw Half Holkham 2018 will go on sale in early September, and the full distance Outlaw Triathlon will go on sale in late September (which is earlier than previously stated).
