Racecheck, the race review platform for endurance sports events, has appointed sports PR company Breathe Unity to manage all PR and media. Starting in July 2017, Breathe Unity will focus on raising awareness of Racecheck among the endurance sports community and forming collaborative partnerships with like-minded brands.
A family-run business, Racecheck was founded with the aim of providing a means for athletes to discover events across the world and share their experiences with the endurance community, quickly and easily. Priding itself on its honest, impartial reviews, Racecheck is able to support athletes in their pursuit of a race whilst allowing race organisers to list and manage their events for free. The website is aiming to change the way athletes and event organisers interact and, above all, helping to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.
This is seen as a perfect partnership for Manchester-based Breathe Unity, which is ‘passionate about helping people connect and inspiring a healthy lifestyle through their work in PR.’
Katerina Tanti and Alexandros Tanti, co-founders of Racecheck, said, “We are thrilled to announce that we have appointed Breathe Unity to look after the PR at Racecheck. Now is the perfect time to bring them on board, to raise awareness of our unique online space for endurance athletes and events and to support our growing global athlete and event organiser community. The Breathe Unity team have exceptional understanding of the endurance sports industry and we are very much looking forward to working with them to take Racecheck to the next level.”
Rebecca Richardson, Managing Director of Breathe Unity, added, “We are delighted to partner with Racecheck and support them in their effort to create a strong connection between athletes and events. With so many race options across the globe, the ability to read impartial reviews and make an informed choice is invaluable to athletes. Equally, it is a perfect platform for endurance events to promote their offerings and reach out to athletes worldwide. We are extremely proud to be supporting Racecheck and to be endorsing the power of sport to enhance people’s lives.”
