Sebamed announced as title sponsor of Brighton and Hove Triathlon

Sebamed become title sponsor of Brighton and Hove Triathlon

The organising team of the Brighton and Hove Triathlon has announced active skincare brand Sebamed as the event’s title sponsor. Together, they will be bringing the Sebamed Brighton and Hove Triathlon to the South Coast of England on 17 September 2017. Sebamed was previously the transition sponsor for the closed-road triathlon in 2016; and 2017 sees the brand upgrade to title sponsor.

Sebamed is one of the world’s leading medicinal skincare brands, creating soap-free products with the same pH value as the skin – pH 5.5. Dermatologically tested and recommended for sensitive and stressed skin, the brand is billed as offering the perfect products for an active lifestyle.

Sebamed will be prominent over the triathlon weekend in Brighton, sampling skincare products to triathletes as well as promoting its wide range of products, from Baby to Anti-Dry within The MoveGB Sport and Fitness Show that accompanies the event across the weekend. With the introduction of children’s racing, as well as distances suitable for beginners to elite, Sebamed’s products will be positioned at all athletes competing.

To celebrate the collaborative launch, the first 50 entries into the Sebamed Brighton and Hove Triathlon will receive a Sebamed Limited Edition Grapefruit Shower Gel worth £9.99. With the Sebamed Brighton and Hove Triathlon finish podium and Snapchat filter present over the weekend, the event orgnisers add that there will be plenty of photo opportunities for all of those competing.

John Lunt, Brighton and Hove Triathlon Event Director, said of the partnership “We are honoured to be working with Sebamed as title sponsor. Their healthy skincare range is the perfect fit for triathletes who push their bodies hard.”

Sebamed’s Marketing Manager, Louise Ball, added, “Looking after your skin, especially if you take part in sports or exercise, is very important. Whilst you push yourself to the limit, your skin gets stressed and using a skincare regime which is created around the same pH level as healthy skin allows you to wash and cleanse, without damaging your skin and leaving it open to potential irritants – making your recovery time quicker!

“We are passionate about promoting healthy skin and our partnership with Brighton and Hove Triathlon is the perfect match for us, especially after last year’s great success.’
