As an existing official IRONMAN Europe partner, signage specialist Doublet has been awarded a contract renewal to ‘continue optimising the visibility of IRONMAN and its partner brands across the continent’.

Long established and internationally renowned as a key partner for prestigious races including the Tour de France, the Norway Artic Race and the New York, London, Paris and Hamburg marathons, Doublet has again been chosen by IRONMAN to optimise brand and partner visibility at all European competitions. The agreement, which represents the extension of the successful IRONMAN Europe – Doublet relationship, was signed at IRONMAN Barcelona at the weekend, the final event of the IM European Tour season.

A release from IRONMAN notes that, as official IRONMAN Europe partner, the Doublet Group will ‘continue to lend its expertise by accompanying the company in making key choices to maximise the visual impact of their competitions’. The renewed contract extends the provision of signage and logistics for all upcoming IRONMAN Europe competitions after a strong presence across the 39 races this year.

Doublet designs numerous event signage items for the competitions, such as advertising panels and ground covering as well as structures including the race departure and arrival arches. In addition, the company’s project team coordinates and manages the graphic work for the signage supports and handles dispatch and multi-site delivery across Europe.

Gaëlle Colaert Doublet, CEO of the Doublet Group, said “We are proud to continue to offer IRONMAN our expertise in event signage. Our international presence, coupled with our know-how in multi-support and multi-format digital printing, are significant advantages for flying the colours of this fast-growing competition. A dedicated team works in close cooperation with IRONMAN to accompany and advise this important partner. This additional expanded renewal with an existing customer is a tangible sign of Doublet’s value-add and we look forward to another fantastic season.”

“We continue to choose Doublet because of their experience and competences across a multitude of areas, including signage design, production and logistics,” added Will Brown, Vice-President of Partnerships for IRONMAN Europe. “Thanks to their expertise at major international sports events, we also benefit from their valuable advice which allows us to optimise the visibility of our races. IRONMAN Europe has been delighted with the collaboration during this exceptional season.”

Doublet also supports competing triathletes, such as Grégoire Hétuin, manager of the company’s agency in Annecy, and who is a regular participant at IRONMAN events.

“Completing a triathlon means being able to excel across various disciplines,” added Matthieu Quinart, Events Manager at Doublet, “This is what we do for our clients every day.”

Doublet specialises in designing, printing and manufacturing communication media materials, including the production of reception area structures for event organisers. Originally a flag manufacturer, Doublet is widely recognised as a specialist in visual communication. With a total of 300 employees, the company’s headquarters are located in the north of France, with six international subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Poland, Portugal and the United States.
