The Tri Expo will return to EventCity, Manchester on 10-11 March 2018. Once again, the organisers will be hosting two shows in one, Bike Expo and Tri Expo, embracing all aspects of swimming, cycling and running.
The organising team at Hamerville Media Group note that Tri Expo is unique in that it is the only show of its kind to cover the North West of the UK, an area renowned for cycling and triathlon. The show is positioned as a must-attend event for anyone interested in cycling and triathlon, as well as those who want to try a sporting challenge for the first time.
The show will once again have the support of national governing bodies, Swim England, British Triathlon and British Cycling. Other partners in the show include Cycleguard/Triathlonguard, Xtra Mile Events, Outdoor Swimmer and USwim.
New for 2018 will be a ‘Club Hub’ where visitors can freely talk to clubs in their area and find out how a club can help them improve and keep motivated in training and racing. Clubs already confirmed are Tri Preston and Wakefield Triathlon Club, with interest from many others. Visitors will also have the chance to try wetsuits and kit from their favourite brands, including HUUB, Orca, Fusion, Swans, Grn Sportswear, Zaazee, Evossi and Selkie. Wetsuit testing from various brands will be available throughout the day in the show’s Endless Pool; and slots will be available to book at the show.
The Fell Superstore returns in 2018 as the Tri Expo’s triathlon retailer, with bikes on show from Trek, Bianchi and Beacon; whilst Alton Sports will become the running retailer for the show, with brands to include CEP, Hoka One One and On Running.
Always Aim High Events, Xtra Mile Events, UK Triathlon and the Castle Triathlon Series will be back in 2018 giving visitors a choice of events to take part in for the new season. To keep athletes going in their training and racing the show boasts an array of nutrition on offer – including well-known favourites High5, TORQ, Clif Bar, Precision Hydration, Truestart Coffee and Beet it, as well as newcomers to the show, Manuka Sport, Active Root, Totum Sport and Dr Zaks. Other new brands joining the show this year include Falke, Virtual Racing UK, Kinamara, Dolphin Kick, BRAV Endurance and Pow Virtual Running.
