TriSports.com hosts Craig Alexander Sansego training camp

Sansego by Craig Alexander

Expanding its partnership with pro triathletes and their burgeoning coaching businesses, TriSports.com welcomed five-time World Champion Craig ‘Crowie’ Alexander and his Sansego camp to Tucson, Arizona, on 24-26 March at Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort. Following a recently confirmed partnership with Andy Potts Racing, TriSports also began 2017 by partnering with Crowie and his Sansego coaching operation.

Sansego was established to provide triathlon guidance through innovative programing. The Sansego Experience is an integration of direct, one-on-one coaching and training sessions that focus on nutritional, physical and mental wellbeing from the expert coaches.

TriSports Sponsorship Coordinator Pam Kallio said, “We are thrilled to partner with Craig Alexander and his team in the launch of their ground breaking triathlon training camp. TriSports is able to help support this top-notch camp, and others that have discovered the triathlon training playground that Tucson has to offer.

“Our partnership, among the other Sansego partners like Canyon Ranch, Argon 18, TYR and others, promotes the many benefits of triathlon participation, while helping to add greater knowledge to triathletes of any level. Sansego and TriSports are working towards the same goal, promoting the sport and helping athletes optimize their performance.”

Sansego Coach Matt Smith said, “Sansego was founded on the belief that training needs to focus on the whole athlete. The Sansego Experience at Canyon Ranch is the first triathlon training program that offers a fully integrated training program covering all aspects of the athlete’s life in one place. We have brought together some of the best partners in the industry to enhance the experience and offer custom solutions for each athlete.

Having TriSports, the best retail partner in the world, in Tucson allows us to offer a whole new level of service.”

The Sansego Experience is returning to Tucson in September.

TriSports encourages coaching and camp providers to consider Tucson as a camp destination as it ‘truly is the winter training capital to triathletes seeking a break from the cold winter months’. Some of the services that can be provided are SAG (support and gear), bike rentals, exclusive shopping events, route assistance, meal planning and more.
