Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia powered by Herbalife

Polish IRONMAN licensee, Sport Evolution has confirmed that it has partnered with digital TV operator Vectra, with the firm on board as a sponsor partner of Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia powered by Herbalife. As part of the partnership, the digital TV operator will carry out ‘extensive live broadcasts of the largest triathlon competitions in Poland’.

In addition, from June, Vectra’s video on demand (VOD) service will broadcast a series of documentaries ‘Droga do IRONMAN-a’ [The road to IRONMAN]. This will provide a build-up to the main event, which takes place on 6 August 2017.

Earlier this year, Enea, one of the largest energy groups in Poland, was announced as the title sponsor of both IRONMAN-branded events in Poland – IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia and 5150 Warsaw. The previous title sponsor of IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia – Herbalife – became the presenting and nutrition partner of the race. Enea 5150 Warsaw and Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia powered by Herbalife are the only two Polish IRONMAN-branded events, scheduled for 11 June and 6 August 2017 respectively. Both races are accompanied by IRONKIDS events and relay competitions. In total, approaching 5,000 athletes registered for both events in 2016.

This latest deal is a continuation of a cooperation started last year. Thanks to an agreement with Vectra, which provides broadband internet access, the organising team at Sport Evolution in Poland will run a live broadcast of Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia powered by Herbalife in HD.

“Our cooperation with Vectra will also benefit the athletes and fans,” said Micha? Drelich at Sport Evolution. “During the event in Gdynia there will be screenings as part of Vectra’s Summer VOD Cinema.”

“We are delighted that once again we will support this great triathlon event in Poland,” said Monika ?elazko who is responsible for PR at Vectra. “Sport has always been important to us. This is evidenced not only by our very wide range of sports channels, but also the presence of Vectra at such prestigious competitions as Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia powered by Herbalife.

“We believe that our activity during August will be an added value to the entire event. The ability to see sportsmanship live on our channel Vectra Events is also an opportunity for those who will not be able to come to Gdynia.”
