Ventum wheels out new ‘white glove’ delivery service

Ventum signs US pro triathlete Kevin Collington

Ventum has announced a new delivery option for athletes ordering a Ventum bike through the brand’s online shop – with delivery and assembly at the customer’s door. The new ‘white glove’ delivery service sees the bike brand partner with velofix to give riders the option of having their bike delivered ride-ready by a certified mechanic… ‘who will dial you in on your new bike’.

How it works:

  • Build bike with Ventum online builder or place an order in the company’s online shop
  • At checkout, select ‘velofix DIRECT’ as the delivery option
  • Velofix will then contact the consumer to set up a delivery time and deliver the fully-assembled bike

With the velofix DIRECT delivery option, consumers can contact velofix within 30 days after delivery ‘for them to stop by for a complimentary follow-up’

Ventum notes that it is on a mission to build the world’s fastest racing bicycles, starting with the Ventum One. The Ventum One is a triathlon bicycle designed specifically for maximum performance in non-draft-legal races, including IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 triathlons. The Ventum One, ‘inspired by fighter jets and Formula One race cars, eschews traditional bicycle frame design in favour of improved aerodynamics.’

Ventum was founded by Jimmy Seear and Diaa Nour. Seear is a professional triathlete and ‘previously ranked #1 in the world’. Together they are aiming to ‘shake up the triathlon bicycle market and changing how athletes think of fast bikes.’
