The BMC-Vifit Sport Pro Triathlon Team powered by Uplace will roll for the seventh consecutive season in BMW cars. The team has built an extensive portfolio of sponsor partners, particularly those brands that are endemic to the endurance sport industry. Extending its non-endemic sponsor roster, the continued partnership with BMW builds on the alliance originally forged with property group, Uplace.
BMC-Vifit Sport Pro Triathlon Team CEO Bob De Wolf said, “It’s great to be able to continue to develop such a great project, and the creation and development of the team is made possible through our partners. At each additional stage in the team’s life there are also logistical needs, which is why it is essential to find the right partner who can support us in terms of transportation and logistical requirements.
“This is why I am proud and happy to announce that for the next season we are renewing our collaboration with the BMW Le Couter dealership.”
The BMC-Vifit Sport team and Belgian athlete Bart Aernouts are using BMW X1 vehicles this year. BMW notes that ‘The driving pleasure, the flexibility of its interior and the practical aspects make the BMW X1 the choice par excellence.’
Bob De Wolf added, “Triathlon is a sport of logistical requirements and needs, and our vision as a team is to provide professional coaching and to provide our athletes with the best possible support in all areas. The BMW X1 offers us the practical advantages of the BMW X Series combined with dynamic driving pleasure, and this collaboration perfectly matches our team identity. We are always looking for the best for our athletes and the BMW dealer partnership provides us with the style and premium look of our team.”
Stijn Le Couter, of the BMW Le Couter dealership explained, “The values of triathlon and the BMC-Vifit Sport team perfectly match the values of our concession BMW Le Couter: sportsmanship, team spirit and continuous search for improvement. We are particularly proud to have contributed to this success story over the past seven years, just like the team’s athletes, our employees aim to stand out every day to deliver a better experience for their customers.”
