HOKA ONE ONE is rolling out its latest Bondi 6 shoe. As the most cushioned shoe in HOKA’s road-shoe line-up, the new iteration incorporates engineering improvements whilst still maintaining its lightweight, cushioning appeal.
HOKA notes that the Bondi 6 marks a slight tune-up from the 5-numbered variant of the Bondi. A ‘metarocker inspired by that of earlier models will improve propulsion and efficiency through the footstrike, while an adjustment to the shape of the rubber pods on the outsole allow for better rubber coverage and outsole protection without added weight.’
HOKA adds that softer materials in the heel and collar package will ‘make for a remarkably comfortable step-in feel’…
‘The Bondi 6 offers a smooth, balanced ride delivered by the full-EVA midsole, the comfortable and breathable upper, and our Meta-Rocker technology. This delivers a consistent ride for all distances.’
The shoe will be available from 9 August 2018 with an RRP of £120 / €140.
Back in June, HOKA ONE ONE, a division of Deckers Brands, unveiled its spring 2019 product line and noted that it now ‘offers the largest and most diverse line-up the brand has ever announced for a spring season’. The product line for 2019 includes new editions of (and new additions to) the Fly Collection, key updates to the Trail, ATR and Dynamic Stability categories, and a new hiking-focused shoe collection called Sky.
