As triathletes in the northern hemisphere approach the off-peak season, and thoughts turn to training for next year, training camp specialist Got To Tri has launched a unique offer targeted at triathlon clubs.
Got To Tri’s bespoke triathlon camps are especially targeted at clubs, with the ‘opportunity for coaches to go free and clubs to make a profit’. The company adds that all training camps provide top quality facilities, scenic routes and first class hospitality.
A release from Got To Tri notes that ‘The triathlon club provides the coaching and Got To Tri handles the rest – everything from hotel bookings, transfers, lockable bike storage and bike hire, to locally sourced food and drink and on the ground assistance.’
The bespoke triathlon camps in Mallorca, Spain, enable clubs to challenge their athletes over some of the bigger, more iconic climbs, such as Cap de Formentor, Coll de Sa Batalla, and Sa Calobra.
An open air heated 25m pool, with dedicated swim lanes is available as well as a sheltered bay for open water swimming. There are a number of trails giving athletes the chance to go running off road with 1-4km loops, with the ability to taper sessions to the club’s athletes.
Aside from the standard triathlon camp, the coaching firm also offers women-only camps, fully coached camps, and race prep for 70.3 distance races.
Got To Tri was founded in 2013 by two triathlete brothers and sporting enthusiasts, Santi and Javier Brage. They deliver bespoke triathlon training camps in Mallorca, Spain. Offering quality facilities, hospitality and routes, their knowledge of Mallorca allows athletes to hit the road running as soon as they arrive.
A number of established triathlon clubs keep returning annually to the camps. Brighton Tri Club Head Coach, Rachel Perry said, “What makes it easy to run a tri camp with Got To Tri is that they perform all tedious groundwork. We had a great time this year and swam over 5km, cycled 400km, and ran 20km.”
Go To Tri adds that… ‘The best feature of this bespoke training camp may be the fact that triathlon coaches can go for free while also generating revenue for their club, depending on the amount of club members who attend. Got To Tri has a simple pricing model which clearly communicates increasingly lower costs per person, the bigger the group.’
